Lawrence Kursar is widely acclaimed as both performer, conductor and arranger. As a founding member of Band du Soleil and Crosswinds Trio he has performed internationally. With his writing he established the high brass trio as a viable chamber music ensemble. He
is the Music Director and Conductor of the Hunterdon Symphony Orchestra and the Princeton Symphonic Brass. He has performed in such prestigious venues as the Academy of Music in Philadelphia and the Wang Center in Boston where he conducted a stage orchestra for the Bolshoi Ballet.
Michael Toth began his training at the age of 7 with Marjorie Haimbach, Michael made his concert debut when he was 14 at Carnegie Recital Hall. Studying with Frank Glazer and Artur Balsum at the Eastman School of Music, he has gone on to perform both in the United States and
abroad as soloist and accompanist. Michael has performed an extensive list of the major chamber music repertoire. With experience performing on all types of keyboards, Michael Toth is one of the most versatile pianists available today. Currently, Michael is the pianist with the Allentown Symphony.
Gary Ross at home on the concert stage and at jazz venues, has a wide array of credits to his na
me. His dazzling playing of Baroque masterpieces and the mellow sound of his jazz improvisations have won him acclaim from audiences young and old. He performed the Bach “Brandenburg Concerto #2” and the Haydn “Trumpet Concerto” with the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with the Allentown Symhony, Trenton Symphony, and the Main Street Brass Quintet. On the show stage, Mr. Ross has performed with such celebrities as Liberace, Bobby Vinton, and Barry White.
Christopher Sumner is a versatile musician who performs both as a clarinetist and conductor. He has conducted many groups including the Raritan Valley Symphonic Band where he was the artistic director and conductor from 2014 to 2022. He currently performs with the Riverside Sympohnia as the principal clarinetist, as well as with the American Repertory Ballet Orchestra. He has performed with numerous other groups including the Allentown Symphony, Greenwich Symphony, Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, and Princeton Chamber Symphony. He has also worked with Linda Rondstadt and Aaron Neville.
